Singapore Visa

Visa and Entry Requirements 
All visitors to Singapore must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Valid travel document (minimum validity of 6 months at the time of departure)
  • Confirmed onward or return tickets (can be provided by Travelo Nigeria)
  • Entry facilities, including visas, to the next destination;
  • Sufficient funds to maintain themselves during their stay in Singapore (can be provided by Travelo Nigeria); and
  • Yellow Fever Vaccination
    • The validity of passport should be minimum 6 months.
    • The documents submitted should not be blurred or weary.

  1. Please note that visa processing can be done only upon the completion of required documentation and clearance of payments.
  2. All visa application is for single entry only except stated otherwise.
  3. A Singapore visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission for the holder of a valid Singapore visa to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore. The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by the Immigration & Checkpoint  Authority (ICA) officers at the point of entry. Possession of a valid visa alone does not guarantee entry into Singapore.

Before I Travel

What should I do before my trip? Prepare for happy trips!

Please ensure that you obtain the right one for your purposes, or you may be refused entry to the country

  • Purchase comprehensive travel insurance which includes medical evacuation in case you encounter any unexpected emergencies. Be familiar with the terms and coverage of your policy.

Why do I need insurance?

Possessing the right travel insurance can save you a great deal of trouble should adverse situations occur.

  • Check the health and vaccination requirements for your destination(s).
  • Bring your doctor’s prescription if you have to carry any medication, as you may need to show this at the customs checkpoint(s).
  • Check the customs regulations concerning import and export of items for the countries you are visiting. Some countries require travellers to declare items that are under their quarantine restrictions at the entry checkpoint.
  • Read up on your destination’s local news and regulations. Get information from experienced travellers, travel agents, tourist information offices and airlines.
  • Ensure that your passport has at least 6 months’ validity.
  • Make or save copies of your important documents (e.g. identity card, passport data page, credit cards, and travellers’ cheques) in case you lose any of them. Leave copies with your family and friends as a contingency.
  • Tell your friends and family where you are going and how to contact you.
  • Find out where the nearest Nigerian Overseas Mission is to you.
  • Apply for an International Driving Permit if you plan to drive overseas.
  • Have valid tickets to return home.
  • Bring adequate funds for your stay.

 

I Am Already Abroad

We hope you are enjoying your travels abroad, but we encourage you to take note of the following points to ensure your trip remains a happy and productive one.

  • Always take care of your personal safety.
  • Obey the laws and respect the local customs of the countries you are visiting.
  • Keep abreast of the local news.
  • Keep your passport and identity card separate to minimise the risk of you losing both your ID documents.
  • Never carry too much cash and valuables.
  • Never leave your valuables unattended.
  • Never carry packages through customs on behalf of other people.
  • Check the customs regulations concerning import and export of items for the countries you are visiting. Some countries require travellers to declare items that are under their quarantine restrictions at the entry checkpoint.
  • Make sure you know the local rules of the road.
  • Ensure the you, your passengers and the vehicle are covered by insurance.
  • Keep your family and friends informed of your whereabouts and activities.
  • Find out where the nearest Nigerian Embassy is to you.

These Terms & Conditions govern visa application and other related services provided by Travelo Nigeria for their clients;

  1. Travelo Nigeria acts as an agent on behalf of their clients in the submission of applications for visa and ancillary services to the appropriate institutions and/or immigration authorities.
  2. Travelo Nigeria shall not be held responsible for costs (directly or consequential) incurred due to any delay arising from incomplete visa application form, inaccurate/false information or documentation provided, or as a result of circumstances outside Travelo Nigeria’s control.
  3. Travelo Nigeria reserves the right to return any passport without the requested visa if the passport or the documents provided do not comply with the requirements or if there is insufficient time to process the visa.
  4. Travelo Nigeria bears no responsibility for costs incurred by an applicant or any secondary applicants while waiting for a visa to be finalized by the immigration authorities. These costs may include but are not limited to cost of flights, rent of accommodation, and loss of earnings or any other costs.
  5. Travelo Nigeria will not be held responsible should the immigration authorities or any other third party change their rules, regulations or processing requirements if that change has a direct effect on the timeline for delivery. However, Travelo Nigeria will use its best endeavours to minimize any delay or inconvenience caused in this respect.
  6. Travelo Nigeria is a private company and do not have authority to grant a visa of any kind. We cannot guarantee a positive result on a visa application. The final decision on all applications rests with the relevant organization responsible for issuing that result.
  7. Travelo Nigeria cannot influence any decision made by an immigration authority; any delay by an immigration authority in the issuing of a visa; or a decision to refuse to grant a visa.
  8. It is the client’s responsibility to provide Travelo Nigeria with all required information and documentation concerning the application. However, Travelo Nigeria may assist, where necessary, to provide documentation subject to clients request.
  9. Travelo Nigeria cannot lodge a visa application until it has complete documentation and any subsequent documentation requested by Travelo Nigeria from the applicant.
  10. Travelo Nigeria will use and rely on information provided by the clients in the provision of services to them. Travelo Nigeria will not independently verify or assume responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of such information.
  11. Travelo Nigeria shall not be held responsible for any changes in immigration policy which affect the eligibility of a visa application at any stage while a visa application is being processed by the Immigration Authorities.
  12. Travelo Nigeria shall not be responsible to provide the relevant medical forms/vaccination cards to a client, should health examinations be required. Hence Travelo Nigeria has no part in the process of carrying out these medicals or providing these medical results to the Immigration Authorities for further processing.
  13. Travelo Nigeria will not proceed with visa application services until payment has been made.
  14. Our prices may need to be changed without prior notice as our prices are determined by exchange rates and changes in immigration costs.
  15. As soon as payment is received, the client is deemed to have engaged the service of Travelo Nigeria. Once the service has been provided to the client it cannot be returned. Where visa was denied, visa processing fees are non-refundable.
  16. If, after requesting for visa application with Travelo Nigeria you wish to withdraw the visa application and that application has not been submitted to the Immigration Authorities, 10% of the amount paid shall be deducted as assessment and/or administration fees.
  17. Where an applicant fails to honour a scheduled appointment at the Embassy, Travelo Nigeria shall charge N2,500 (Two Thousand Naira) only as penalty and to secure subsequent appointment at the appropriate Embassy.
  18. In the event of loss or damage to any passport or documents received, Travelo Nigeria liability will be limited to the actual value of the passport and documents up to a maximum of N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) only per applicant. Travelo Nigeria accepts no liability for consequential loss.
  19. Travelo Nigeria reserves the right not to provide any service without the client agreeing to our terms and conditions as set out herein.
  20. Travelo Nigeria is entitled to include additional Terms & Conditions should the need arise. The request for lodgement of an application to Travelo Nigeria by web, post, phone, email, constitutes agreement to these Terms & Conditions, including amendments thereto, by the customer.
  21. Travelo Nigeria will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by an Embassy/Consulate issuing an incorrect visa or incorrect details on a visa as this is out of our control.
  22. Travelo Nigeria shall not be held responsible under any circumstance, to compensate for any injury, accident, loss, damage or delay (whether directly or consequential), of any passports or travel documents by any third party courier/delivery company.
